Dear Friends and supporters,
I seem to keep saying that the newsletter update is long overdue. It most definitely is! Since Christmas we have been busy with travels, working on legislation, consulting, combatting misinformation and of course attempting to keep up with the news cycle and the state legislative sessions, especially when it comes to parental rights and exemptions. You will see below that we have been keeping extremely busy!
As we enter Holy Week, let us remember to solemnly unite our hearts, prayers and sacrifices as we accompany Christ on his passion, death and resurrection. Soon, the great ALLELUIA will be sung in thanksgiving, triumph and praise to God as we rejoice in the good news of the resurrection!

Untainted Ethical Alternatives in Japan. Japan has approved a combination MMR as opposed to the MR which will be slowly phased out.
Diocese of Wichita KS reverses immunization policy and now allows Religious Exemptions to align both Catholic teaching and State Law.
Children of God for Life submits Testimony on Florida SB1756 to add the Right of Conscience to abstain from immunization.
Idaho Senate Bill 1310 to add labeling of aborted fetal cell lines use in vaccines stalls in committee until the next legislative session
South Carolina legislators scrapped a Bill aimed to remove Religious Exemptions in regard to the tainted MMR vaccine. CoG sent letters against this bill as it would have affected hundreds of Catholic families who had exemptions on file.
Children of God for Life contacts legislators in Minnesota to urge them to vote against removing the Conscience Exemption to vaccination. The bill usurps what the Catholic Church has ALWAYS upheld, the Primordial right to conscience.
NIH ends funding & support of Human Fetal Tissue Research While we are happy with this announcement, we remain reserved in its future outcome. As we have seen in the past, the policy is almost always reversed when a new administration that supports using the remains of innocent murdered children for research and creating new products. We continue to monitor this.
FDA shifts to limit animal testing in drug development With the shift away from animal testing, the FDA is seeking to focus more on organoid and chip technology. These are NOT without its own problems as some of these technologies are created using aborted fetal tissue. There is a growing concern among Ethicists in both Chip, CRISPER and Organoid technologies.
NEW aborted fetal cell line MUi028 has emerged. We are working with our friends at HLI in Singapore to obtain more information. Currently, it looks as if this will only be used specifically in Singapore and not available worldwide.

Every few years it seems that the Senomyx issue continues to resurface and nearly 15 years the misinformation continues to spread.
People believe that aborted fetal cells are IN THEIR FOOD!

Many of you have been contacting us regarding Catholic school registrations and your Diocese not allowing Religious or Conscience Exemptions. Since founding over 25 years ago, we have worked tirelessly to help parents and work to foster an open dialog and advocate for reversal on Diocesan policies.
We know parents are, more often than not, perceived as the enemy. That is far from the truth. Parents have the right to follow their conscience without unjust coercion and yet are often ignored or shunned by the very leaders that uphold conscience rights for Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and Catholic healthcare systems but parents seemingly aren’t entitled to the very same protections.
